Boulevard 57 Miami; Mixed Use Development Announced
Boulevard 57 Mixed Use Condos & Commercial Space Coming
Boulevard 57, a new 8 story mid rise condo tower which may house a Trader Joe’s. The development will be along Biscayne Boulevard between 57th and 58th streets. It combines residential living with commercial options in the MiMo District.
Boulevard 57 is designed by Sieger Suarez. The project previously was named 57 or Fifty Seven. The developer is working to land a Trader Joe’s type commercial situation. If that does come true this project will be extremely appealing and like nothing Miami has seen yet.
107 units are planned with price per square foot between $550 and $600. That translates into between $550,000 and $3.8 million. The development will mix contemporary development with strong Miami Modern (Mimo) influence. Square footage will range from 1,100 to 4,800. Amenities include a raised pool deck, gym, cabanas and more. Penthouses will have rooftop decks.
Trader Joe’s Might Be The Commercial Anchor
The commercial space will be about 40,000 in square footage. The anchor will be a supermarket which ties into the lifestyle of more health conscious residents. The development is just next to the Morningside neighborhood. In addition there will be space for a restaurant and a retail store.
Boulevard 57 will be a great place to live. I wouldn’t be surprised if a yoga studio was put in. The project is anticipated to be completed by the end of 2017.
